about

On 29 March 1985, we played a headline gig in the basement of the now-bulldozed Clarendon Hotel, Hammersmith. For probably the first time we attracted an audience that included a significant number of people who hadn't come down from Romford. Our reputation was growing, and an anonymous member of that audience caught the whole gig on cassette and handed it to Callahan at the next Clarendon show (it had a Wipers bootleg on the other side as bonus). Stream the ensuing garage/indie mayhem, or download for just £5 or 50p per track.
